4th Annual Colorado Day Whiskey Release
State 38 Distilling in Golden, Colorado is so excited to release our 4th Annual Colorado Day Whiskey, a straight Bourbon whiskey finished in a rum barrel from Montanya Distillers. The limited edition bottle label was once again designed by Golden-based artist Jesse Crock.
We will be releasing this year’s Colorado Day Whiskey on Friday, August 2nd from 4-9pm at the State 38 Distilling tasting room in Golden. This special release party will include a variety of fun events as State 38 Distilling pays homage to Colorado, the 38th State.
On Friday night from 4-9pm we will be joined by Jesse Crock, Dos Gringos Food Truck , Gold Mine Cupcakes, So Good Bakeshoppe, Saintly Jewelry, Adventurist Soap Co., live music, activities, and more. The event is family-friendly with outdoor games and activities for kids, making it a perfect outing for everyone.
This special release Bourbon has a nose of sweet rum and molasses, a front of vanilla, oak, and a hint a grape, with a mid palette of bordeaux cherry, caramel, and slight coconut, and a finish of velvety sweet toffee and spiced rum. We can’t wait for you to try this 2024 special release.
Jesse, a Colorado native known for his picturesque landscapes, will be at the distillery signing the limited edition bottles, and we will also have t-shirts, prints, hats, welded permanent bracelets and other jewelry, local soap, baked goods, a food truck, and more available for sale.
The 2024 Colorado Day Whiskey will be available for sale at the distillery only, for $89 a bottle. We also have a few bottles left of the 2022 Colorado Day Wheat Whiskey. The limited number of bottles will be available for sale at 50% off with the purchase of a 2024 CO Day bottle.
